CricScene started on the boundary line of a tapeball tournament in Lahore, not in a boardroom. We were scoring matches on paper, chasing runs across a WhatsApp group, and losing track of who bowled the last over. We built the tool we wished we had.
Community cricket in Pakistan runs on effort, not budget. Scorers keep a running tally on a notepad. Organizers manage fixtures, points tables, and player registrations in a spreadsheet. Fans find out the score by calling someone at the ground. CricScene exists to fix that, without asking a local league to change how it plays the game.
A tournament shouldn't need a big budget to feel professional. A scorer at a tapeball match deserves the same tools as a scorer at a stadium. A fan following their local team should get the same ball by ball experience as someone watching an international fixture. We build CricScene around that idea.
